Council Members for New Session
The members of the Council for new session has been appointed with effect from 29th October 2020 for a period of two years by Hon Chamal Rajapaksa, Minister of Irrigation.

Notice to Members of IESL and IIESL not Registered for the year 2020
It has been noted that, some members of IESL or IIESL have not registered so far, with ECSL for the year 2020.
Please be informed that, according to the section 14(1) of Engineering Council Sri Lanka Act no. 4 of 2017, no engineering practitioner shall engage in the practice of engineering profession without being registered in ECSL.
Issuing Certificates of Registration
Electronic certificate has been issued to all Engineering Practitioners who have paid registration fees for the year 2020 and registered under the categories of Chartered Engineer, Associate Engineer, Affiliate Engineer, Incorporated Engineer and Engineering Diplomate. The soft copy of certificates have been sent to the individual Engineering Practitioner via email.
ECSL will not issue printed certificates at this stage.
Notice to the Visitors - Safety Measures Implemented at ECSL Office.
It has been decided to curtail the visitors to the ECSL office in accordance with the guidelines issued by the government authorities to mitigate the spreading of COVID-19 pandemic.
In case, if you have to visit ECSL office, you are advised to do so with a prior appointment only.
